Catch Up!
Catch up!
This phrasal verb has a lot of meanings! It can mean to attain something, to become equal, to bring someone up to date, lift suddenly.
For examples:
Dan caught the competitors up on the last lap and he ended up winning.
I caught up the bus lately and I couldn't get in at school on time.
I caught my brother up on height.
She had been out of town and yesterday I caught her up to the news.
On the first example I wrote "ended up" which is of the verb "end up"! I haven't explained it yet, but by this time tomorrow it will be clarified! ;)
