Dress Up/Down!

This meaning is pretty easy!

To Dress oneself's up is to wear formal clothes or pretty fancy ones.

For example: We dressed ourselves up to the party. We did the best we could.

However, to dress down is totally the opposite. It means to dress informal clothes. This phrasal is usually used when you wanna talk about wearing informal at work.

For example: I dress down when there is no big meetings.

Got it!?
