I learned it paying attention of musics and walking on the streets. The difference is considerable, but it is so easy to get it!
- Look at
You use it when you wanna say something you see. Yellow is a music by ColdPlay and on it they used "look at". Click on to listen.
Ex: I looked at the window this morning.
I looked at old pictures yesterday night.
- Look for
Look for means something more like trying to find, when you wanna find something. Look for means expect too.
Ex: I lost my keys and now I am looking for them.
We are looking for some changes of your behavior. You have been a stubborn girl.
Got them?!
~~
I don't know about you, but when I look at the same verb which can mean different things just because of two or three letters in the end, I make completely sure I love phrasal verbs!
