Come By!

Come by has two meanings. One of them is similar with come over, which is to pay a visit.

For example: Yesterday Rachel's best friends came by her house and spent all afternoon over there.

The other meaning is to gain possession of, to acquire.

For example: Financing a house is hard to come by.

True friends are hard to come by, but once you get is hard to let them slip away.
