I mean, you all know I do love phrasals, and above all, the difference of their meanings only because of the particle! Isn't it so amazing?!?!
Getting down to the meanings... Let in is to allow someone to come in.
For example: I had just started to talk to my friend when she let me in her home.
Let out is like to let sb outside of somewhere, for example: in the summer, I let the dog out of home.
It's also to go out. For example: my mom let out in the morning. The other meaning is to scream, like: yesterday I just let my voice out!
Get it?!
