When it rains...

Hey!

The idiom of today is When it rains, it pours. It means that when something good or bad happens, it usually happens often in a short period of time.

For example: That's my first week on my new job and I already have reports to do, new assistances to train and enough work to keep me busy for weeks. When it rains, it pours.

It also means somethings haven't happened in your life for a while, but when they happen it's all at once.

For example: Last week the work wasn't very hard, but this week I have a lot of work to do. Besides, my mom is gonna come to stay with me and I'm gonna have to clean the house up. I still have to go to supermarket to buy things to eat. When it rains, it pours!!

Hope you got that! If you didn't, feel free to write down any question!
