Pass!

This time I decided to write a couple of particles of pass! Hope you like!

  • Pass by
To go or move fast. Ex: The limousine passed by right after of the actresses got in there.

It can also means to disregard.
Ex: She passed by difficulty problems.

A synonym is go by.
  • Pass away
Means to die. Ex: Mr. Johnny passed away last month.
  • Pass over
The meaning of it is to ignore and overlook.
Ex: They passed him over before promote him.
  • Pass on
It means to handle something, to transmite knowledge or skills, transfer the possession of, move forward.
Ex: He passed the box on and after passed the instructions on to the customers. After work, he passed some old clothes on.

This phrasal can also be used when you wanna be euphemistic of the death of someone. Ex: Liss passed on yesterday night.
  • Pass off
Go away is a synonym of it. It is used to talk about emotions and sickness. Ex: By the evening, his sickness had passed off and he could work on greatly.
  • Pass out
It's to give to several different people and to black out. Ex: I went to school yesterday and the teacher passed out the papers to all class. After that, I just passed out.
  • Pass up
Not to accept an opportunity or chance.
Ex: He passed up the opportunity to move his work desk.
