Wear Off!

Hey!

It's been a long time since I've posted about phrasal verbs. So the phrasal of today and the first one of the year is Wear Off. Everyone knows that to wear is used to say your clothes are on. It can also be used for shoes, besides.
However to wear off means to become less and stop gradually. It's often used for effects, like medication or something.

For example: Dan began to feel hurt after the painkiller wore off.

Every time Megan listens to music her anger wears off.

Got it?
