In Time x On Time!
Hey!
Have you ever heard "in time"? What about "on time"? Is here a difference? If so, do you know what it is?
There definitely is a big difference between In and On time. In Time is used when you arrived in the last minute and you almost missed something.
For example: My train leaves at 11am and I arrived at the train station right in time. If I had been one or two minutes late, I would have missed it.
Mike had to run to take his train, otherwise it would have left without him. He took that in time.
On Time, on the other hand, is used when you arrive, take something earlier than the maximum time.
For example: The class starts at 9am, but Anna always arrives on time. She arrives at 8:50am.
Nathaniel likes to arrive at mettings and appointments on time. He doesn't like to hurry nor to be late.
Julie likes to arrive at the dance center on time, so she can stretch herself carefully and slowly.
Got it?
